We use cookies to make our website functional and intuitive. The data collected thanks to the cookies are used to make the browsing experience more enjoyable.

What are the cookies?

Cookies are small text files sent from the website to the terminal of the interested party (usually to the browser), where they are stored and then retransmitted to the site on the next visit by the same user. A cookie cannot retrieve any other data from the user’s hard disk or transmit computer viruses or obtain email address. Each cookie is unique to the web browser of the user. Some of the cookies functions can be delegated to other technologies.

In this document, the term “cookie” refers to both cookies precisely so called, and to all similar technologies.

Types of cookies

Cookies can be of first or third party, where “first party” is used to indicate cookies that report the site as a domain, whereas “third party” means cookies that relate to external domains.

Third party cookies are necessarily installed by an external party, always defined as “third party”, not managed by the site. These subjects may eventually install also first party cookies, saving their cookies on the site domain.

Technical cookies

Technical cookies are the ones used for the only purpose of completing the transmission of a communication over an electronic communications network, or to the extent strictly necessary for the provider of an information society service explicitly requested by the subscriber or user to provide this service (see art. 122, paragraph 1 of the Code).

They are not used for further purposes and are usually installed directly by the owner or by the site manager.

They can be divided into:

-navigation or session cookies, which can guarantee the normal navigation and enjoyment of the site (allowing, for example, to make a purchase or authenticate the access to restricted areas); they are in fact necessary for the correct functioning of the site.

-analytics cookies, assimilated to the technical ones, when used directly by the site operator in order to collect information in an aggregated form, on the number of users and how they visit the site, so that they can improve the performance of the site.

-functionality cookie: which allow the user to navigate according to a series of selected criteria (for example the language, the products selected for purchase) in order to improve the service rendered to the same.

The installation of these cookies does not require the prior consent of the users (more information in the paragraph on the cookies management below).

Profiling cookies

Profiling cookies are aimed at creating users profiles and are used to send messages of advertisement in line with the preferences in line with the preferences expressed by the same part in surfing the net. For the use of profiling cookies is required the consent of the interested party.

According to the provisions (more information available in the cookie management paragraph below) the user can authorize or deny consent to the installation of cookies through the options provided in the cookie management section.

In case of third party cookies, the website does not have direct control over individual cookies and therefore cannot control them (it can neither install them directly nor delete them). You can still manage these cookies through your browser setting (follow the instructions below) or the sites indicated in the “cookie management”section. The user is therefore invited to check on the third party website indicated in the table below.
